Bookkeeping & Accounting

Books maintained monthly, reconciled properly, and closed on a schedule you can rely on.

What this covers

Books that are only touched at year end cost more to fix than they ever saved. We maintain accounts on a monthly cycle, reconcile bank and party balances as we go, and close each month so the year-end position is a summary rather than a reconstruction.

You get a monthly MIS pack — profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow and ageing — within an agreed number of days of month close, so decisions are made against current numbers.

Books are maintained in your software and your account. If you ever move the work elsewhere, the data goes with you without an export negotiation.

How the engagement runs

  1. 01

    Setup and chart of accounts

Ledger structure designed around how you actually report, and opening balances verified against the last audited position.

  2. 02

    Monthly entry cycle

Vouchers, invoices and bank statements processed on a fixed monthly schedule rather than in year-end batches.

  3. 03

    Reconciliation and close

Bank, GST, TDS and party balances reconciled, and the month formally closed before the next one is opened.

  4. 04

    MIS and reporting

A monthly reporting pack, and year-end financials handed over in an audit-ready state.

Common questions

Can you take over books that are several months behind?
Yes. We start with a catch-up engagement to bring the ledgers current and reconcile the backlog, quoted separately from the ongoing monthly work. Once the books are current, they move onto the standard monthly cycle.
Whose accounting software will the books be kept in?
Yours, under your licence and your login, so you retain access and ownership of the data at all times. We work in Tally and Zoho Books as standard and can accommodate other platforms on request.
